Post 53 is headed by the Board of Darien EMS-Post 53 and supported by Friends of Post 53 as well as a Community Advisory Board. 

These boards manage the financials and operations of Darien EMS-Post 53 ensuring excellence and continuity of service for the Town of Darien.  The current Chairman of the Board is Mike Murray, a Darien resident and past President (’81) of Post 53.  He is joined by community residents, the Director of Post 53 and several Adult Advisors.
